A bespoke residential development combining new build housing and conversion of listed steading buildings in the village of Lauder.
Designed around a series of courtyards the form, detailing and materials provide a cohesion between the old and new. The combination of courtyards and pends create a pedestrian friendly environment, providing permeability and passive traffic calming.
The project received a commendation in The Scottish Borders Council Design Award Scheme 2009.
