Situated on the banks of the River Leven, the development comprises 111 rented units and 18 shared equity units including a range of two storey housetypes, 3 storey flatted blocks, wheelchair bungalows, greenspace and 3no. play areas catering for Cordale Housing Association's varied housing mix and tenants. The reintroduction of the historic Mill Lade, which was previously covered over through the majority of the site was reconstructed and opened up fully throughout the site to enhance the local amenity of the development to it's new residents. The development introduced homezone areas creating an inclusive community approach and a detailed landscaping design was undertaken introducing large areas of planting and open greenspace creating visual contact with the lade, the river and cycle path network to maintain and maximise healthy living and well-being.
