St Peter's House Care Home

Planform Architects Ltd

This project was procured by Orkney Islands Council to replace the existing aging St Peter's House care facility with a new, modern care home to provide high dependency care for 40 residents with a high degree of physical frailty and dementia. The new care home has been designed to look like a cluster of new houses, all of which are also designed to take full advantage of panoramic views looking towards Stromness. The design also meets the University of Stirling's 'Designing for Dementia' standards.

Designed by Stuart Dallas when he was a director at Young & Gault Architects.
