The Brief for this project was to maximise retail space for a single chain store occupier, whilst increasing car parking. This resulted in the creation of 50,000 square Feet of retail space and over 300 additional parking spaces. The completed building has minimal impact on the surrounding streetscape with the main bulk being screened by existing buildings on the street frontage. Small glimpses can be had from the entrance to the Goods Yard, and through the entrance to Drums Lane. The completed project has been the recipient of Commendations from Aberdeen Civic Society, and the Aberdeen Society of Architects.
