Archers Hall

LDN Architects LLP

The Royal Company of Archers in Edinburgh, founded in 1676 and based in Archers Hall, is the most important and oldest Archery club in Britain.

The brief included the replacement of the existing archery range and the design of low-rise flatted accommodation for 75 University of Edinburgh students.

The RCA’s long-term aim is to sell on the properties after the lease with the UoE expires, thus providing the Company with funds to ensure its future survival. To achieve this, robust design, detailing and construction were essential.
