Holmes Miller were architect and lead designers for a team appointed by the Irish Football Association to deliver the phase 1 redevelopment of Windsor Park, the national football stadium of Northern Ireland.
The project consisted of the construction of new stands increasing the capacity to 18,000. In addition, the works included demolition, safety and accessibility improvements, museum for the IFA and offices for Linfield FC.
The same team subsequently delivered phase 2, the new Olympia Leisure Centre integrated into the stadiums West Stand. The Leisure Centre consists of Swimming Pool, Health and Fitness Suite, Sports Hall, gymnasium and fitness studios.
