This small cottage in Roslin was getting too small for the original occupiers, especially when twins appeared on the scene. The new extension provided an extra two bedrooms, bathroom and conservatory, but also created an exciting addition to the main street running through this quiet traditional village. The structure is timber-framed with timber and rendered panels to all three elevations. Grant Bulloch has subsequently extended it further with new owners in 2012. The project was awarded "Highly Commended" in the Midlothian Council Awards for Good Design Design 2004 and was then published in the Sunday Herald's magazine.
