The design of this new school, for 1800 students and extensive community use, sets out to create a place where young people will feel valued and respected in a bright, attractive and stimulating environment. The plan is open, transparent and easily understood, helping people find their way round and promoting a sense of community.
The main circulation core is a three storey internal street into which all activities lead and connect. The three teaching wings plug into the street, a built expression of the faculty management structure of the school. Visual links throughout the school boost a sense of connection.
