Royal Dornoch Green Keeping Facilities

CH Architecture Ltd

The new green keeping facility at Royal Dornoch Golf Club provides much need staff welfare facilities and mechanics workshop and a large storage and maintenance facility for the machinery which is used to keep both the golf course and the driving range in pristine condition. The large roof provides a perfect location for photovoltaic panels and the mild maritime conditions are ideal for the air source heat pumps which service the underfloor heating. Heat recovery is also used in the mechanical ventilation making this a highly sustainable project. Rough sawn timber is used in the vehicle hall to provide a protective inner lining.
