C & S Architects

The project comprised the redevelopment of the existing farmhouse and steading buildings of a dilapidated 1890's farm. Most of the existing buildings were carefully altered, renovated and refurbished to create new high quality dwelling houses while those beyond economical repair were demolished and two new dwelling houses erected. All of the works were carried out using existing local materials to a traditional design while the original stonework was reused to create a harmonious solution. The works included limited landscaping and the creation of a sustainable urban drainage system.
