Ingram Overclad

BPA Architecture

The Ingram Building at University of Kent was built in two phases completed in 1967 and 1970 respectively. It houses laboratories, tutorial rooms and academic offices for chemical, biological and physical sciences. The challenge of overcladding the building while it remained fully operational was met by close liaison between specialist contractor, university management and architect. BPA have obtained planning consent and prepared a fully developed proposal to overclad the adjoining Stacey Building to unify the overall complex.
