Bennetts Associates is one of the UK's leading architectural practices with a reputation for design, delivery and sustainability across a wide range of sectors. The practice has extensive experience of a wide range of buildings including commercial, educational and cultural.
A strong team ethic, methodical approach to design and sense of enjoyment are central to Bennetts Associates' exceptional track record of consistent delivery on time and to budget, whilst over 140 awards for all aspects of design and construction reflect the firm's commitment to excellence.
In the 30 years since its foundation, Bennetts Associates has won over 140 awards, of which over 40 have been in the last five years. The firm is particularly proud that these awards are not only for architectural excellence but also for related areas of expertise such as sustainability, construction, teamwork, regeneration, conservation and overall performance and that work in Scotland has been particularly well recognised, most notably with the Informatics Forum which was awarded the RIAS Andrew Doolan Prize for Best Building in Scotland.
In 2011 the practice received the Building Award for Architectural Practice of the Year, and to date the practice has received 20 RIBA Awards and has featured on the prestigious Stirling Prize shortlist on three occasions. In 2001, Rab Bennetts was voted Scottish Architect of the Year and received an OBE for Services to Architecture in 2003.
