Humpty House

Ben Scrimgeour Building Workshop Ltd

Humpty House sits up in the woods above the Loch of Lintrathen in Angus. It is a contemporary Scottish building which is half family home and half drawing office: a 21st century interpretation of a traditional rural agricultural structure. The interior is open with long oak floor boards, exposed agricultural style steel and enormous shutters. Building Workshop designed many of the building components including the steel roof structure, staircase and kitchen. The Drawing Office is spacious, bright and a wonderful workplace. The home is open plan, sustainable and adaptable.
