Winner of an international design competition organised by the RIAI for a new post primary school in Dublin. The design of a 1000 pupil secondary school by ARPL arranges clusters of teaching spaces around a central 'public square' allowing the circulation to become a series of social or teaching breakout spaces. These ideas are combined with a colour and art strategy to create a unique arrangement of places and special spaces for the school children. The teaching clusters allow a range of teaching styles and methods to be employed across the syllabus and allows teh school to be organised on an inter year and inter year basis. ARPL have now been appointed to take the design forward to completion in Summer 2016.
