Member of Board of Directors: Architects' Professional Examination Authority in Scotland


The Architects' Professional Examination Authority in Scotland (APEAS) is prescribed by the ARB and validated by the RIBA to offer the Part 3 Examination in Scotland. APEAS therefore plays a vital role in the development of aspiring architects and of the profession as a whole.

APEAS now wishes to appoint new Directors to its Board who will be practising architects with a strong commitment to the objectives and values of APEAS and to the application of professional standards in the context of the Part 3 Examination. Experience of board/management committee level work is desirable, but not essential.

Membership of the Board of Directors is not remunerated, but all reasonable costs associated with the role will be met. The Board normally meets 4 times a year. APEAS is a both a company limited by guarantee and a charity registered in Scotland.
