EKJN architects are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Architectural technologist to join our busy studio in Linlithgow.

We are a Chartered Practice with accreditations in Architectural Conservation and in Sustainable Design so this is an ideal opportunity for candidates with an interest in traditional buildings and sustainable design to help bring these two disciplines together.

We have a very varied workload including domestic and commercial, private sector, public sector and voluntary sector projects. We’re currently designing village halls, hotels, sculptures, follies, castles, shops, restaurants and eco-houses. Examples of our diverse workload can be seen at

The kind of skills, knowledge and experience we need are:

• At least 3 years post-qualification experience
• Ability to carry small and medium sized projects from inception to completion
• Fully conversant with Scottish Building Regulations
• Proficient with AutoCAD
• Good communication skills with a customer-friendly attitude

Our office is on Linlithgow High Street, easily accessible by train from Edinburgh, Glasgow or Stirling. Linlithgow is a gem of a town and the office is a great place to work.
