As the conservation work to North Bridge approaches an important milestone, Adam Wilkinson, Director of Edinburgh World Heritage will give a new lecture on the background and significance of the original North Bridge, development and change in and around the bridge, and the radical reshaping of this part of the city at the close of the 19th century.

It will be a chance to learn more about the history of our city through the story of this important part of the World Heritage Site.

The lecture will run in the afternoon and evening, and both sessions will be followed by a members-only drinks reception.
